It's that time of year again to share the spirit of the 4th of July with your community!
Our 9th Annual Blount's Harbour POA Independence Day Parade will be held on Saturday, July 1st at 10 AM. Staging will be between 9:30 - 9:45 AM on Blount Drive at Peaceful Court.
We hope you will join us in the parade with your Golf Carts, 4-Wheelers, Lawn Tractors, Go Carts, Mopeds, Motorcycles, Floats, etc... walking or riding, all are welcome. The parade route is from Peaceful Ct along Blount Dr to the end around the cul-de-sac.
Please feel free to invite your families, friends or renters to join us to participate in the parade or view the parade along the route as a flag-waving spectator.
I have contacted Spotsylvania County Fire Department at Partlow, and they said that they will be happy to have a FIRE TRUCK in our parade providing they are not called out on an emergency. Bring the kids to Blount & Peaceful around 9:30 AM to meet the Fire Fighters as well as, new this year, a meet and greet with your neighbors. Enjoy donuts as you meet new neighbors or catch up with old.
We hope everyone will come out and enjoy the parade on July 1st to celebrate Independence Day.
A donation box will be available at 2901 Blount Drive if you would like to make your annual contribution or to show your appreciation to the Spotsylvania County Fire & Rescue - Partlow Station Company #3.
The Lake Anna Civic Association Annual Fireworks will be July 1st at 9:20 PM at Dike 2.
The annual Blount Harbour Property Owner’s Association (POA) meeting was held September 17, 2022.
Here are the results of that meeting:
- In order to adequately fund the Reserve, annual dues have been increased to $200 with the stipulation that they not increase for three years (minimum).
- Dues, when assessed in June, are to be mailed to the newly created BHPOA permanent address of 2800 Leisure Circle, Bumpass VA 23024.
